Dear Parents,

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• We just found out that our class will be going snowshoeing on Wednesday, Jan. 26^th!!  I’ve attached the Parks and Recreation permission slip and a field trip permission slip.  Both of these permission slips need to be returned.   The city of Pocatello has raised the cost this year.  The cost is $10.00.  The students will also need to bring a sack lunch that day.  They are also welcome to bring extra snacks and plenty of water.  If your child needs any help with the required clothing, please contact me.  Please send the permission slips and $10.00 to school as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, please call me or e-mail me here at school:  237-4742 or thompsde@d25.k12.id.us .  If you would like to go with us, please let me know.  We would love the extra help!  We will be sharing a bus with Mr. Merica’s 5^th grade class, so any parent wanting to help will have to drive/carpool to the Nordic Center.

Dear Parents,
Can you believe it’s December already?!? Where has the year gone?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• I’m sending home book orders, but they will not be back before Christmas. They have some really good buys in them, so I wanted you to have the opportunity to purchase some if you wanted to. They should arrive back the first week we are back from Christmas Break. Please return any orders by Monday, Dec. 13th. Make any checks payable to Scholastic Books.

• Ellis Christmas Program: Dec. 14th (9:30 and 1:30) and Dec. 15th (9:30). Fourth Grade will be the last performers.
