IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Our students now have access to a new online reading program.  It is called “myOn”.  myON® reader matches student interests and reading level with content to personalize learning and predict future reading growth. Use the online 24x7 collection of resources available anytime, anywhere, for any student with our reading scaffolds. Please click here and find out what it is all about:  Learn more! You can also access it from our Ellis school website:  http://www1.sd25.us/Sites/ellis/Main%20Page.html  Students can also log-on to their account on My Big Campus to watch a video explaining the program.  Their username is their student id # and the password is “read”.  Let us know what you think!
• AR GOALS DUE  Tuesday, Nov. 20^th:  End of the 6 Weeks 
• No School on Wed., Nov. 21^st:  Record Day
• No School on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23: Thanksgiving Break
• No homework over Thanksgiving Break.  It will be sent home on Monday, Nov. 26^th.
• Friday, Nov. 16^th:  Picture Retake Day
• Ellis Christmas Programs:  Tuesday, Dec. 11^th (one at 9:30 and one at 1:30) and Wed. Dec. 12^th (9:30 only).
• Report Cards will be ready for viewing on Infinite Campus after 4:00 on Nov. 28^th.  Please use the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to view your child’s grades each week. 
• Next week we will be working on our Descriptive Writing Unit.  Enjoy your child’s personal narrative that was sent home today in the homework folders.
