IMPORTANT INFORMATION

AR GOALS DUE on Tuesday, Oct. 8th
which is the end of the first six weeks grading period.

BOOK ORDERS: due on Friday, Oct. 11th. I am sending home a packet of various book
orders. You can combine book orders and
only write one check payable to “Scholastic Book Clubs”. You may send cash as well. You can also order on-line at scholastic.com. Use this code to get to our class page: HCWNC.

Thank you for joining PTA!! Our class won the PTA membership
contest. We will be having frozen yogurt
next week because of our wonderful parents in Room 5!!!

Help
us win the parent portal contest! On Oct. 13th the class that has had
the most parents logged into parent portal this current year will win a frozen
yogurt party. Please help us win!! Log on parent portal during this time. If you need a GUID #, please contact the
office.

McTeacher's
night is Tuesday, October 15th 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
at the Chubbuck McDonald's at 4260 Yellowstone Ave. A portion
of the sales will be donated to Ellis Elementary School.

PICTURE DAY: Individual pictures will be taken on Wednesday,
Oct. 9th. All students will
have their pictures taken. PACKETS ARE
IN THE HOMEWORK FOLDERS.

BOOK FAIR: October 21-25 in the library.

GRANDPARENTS AND
GRANOLA:
Grandparents are invited to come and read with their grandchild while they
snack on granola.
