THIS WEEK’S HOMEWORK

* Lion’s Club Essay:  Please see the cover sheet for specific directions that must be followed.  Please return the cover sheet with the essay.  Talk with your child about the theme:  “How can I best serve my country in times of need and disaster?”

* Reading:  read nightly and fill out your reading log

         

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

·                    FIELD TRIP:  Snowshoeing has been cancelled, but we have rescheduled with the Parks and Rec. Dept. to go to Ross Park for rock climbing, Frisbee golfing, and walking the Greenway.  We will be going on Thursday, May 10^th.  This will be an all day field trip.  The cost is $10.00, so the students who have already paid for snowshoeing will only have to return a new bus permission slip which will be sent home in April.  For those parents who had paid to go snowshoeing, I will refund your money.  You are more than welcome to come to Ross Park with us, but you will not have to pay.  More information to come in April!!

·                    The new book orders will be due by Friday, March 16^th.  Remember you can order on-line using this code:  HCWNC .   Make any checks payable to Scholastic Book Clubs.  If students are using their free coupon, just mark it on the order form.

·                    Spring Break is March 26^th - March 30^th.

·                    NO SCHOOL for students:  Mon., March 5^th

·                    Report cards are now viewable on Infinite Campus Parent Portal THANK YOU for using Infinite Campus.
